Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
He's rather tall, at 181 cm, and, though he's not thin, he's on the leaner side of the spectrum. He probably seems a little shorter than he actually is, since him actually standing straight is kind of a rare occurrence.
2. How old is he?
Eighteen. Technically, though, he should be seventeen? idek how does i parallel worlds
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
hahaha. His posture is kind of terrible, sometimes. Most of the time. He's shown slouching a lot in game, with both hands in his pockets. it's. kind of bad.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Pretty healthy, I'd imagine. He does a lot of running around; not to mention he did the whole world saving thing. Twice. You have to be fit to engage in that kind of tomfoolery, guys. Otherwise, he's normal...ish.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Just... casual. He doesn't pay much attention to how he presents himself, obviously, so the way he walks isn't 'graceful' or 'fluid', or anything like that. It's just... walking. Maybe with a bit of a slouch.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
He's pretty popular back at school, so he is perceived as attractive in canon. And I don't disagree with this! Even if I'm still trying to figure out how the hell his hair works. As for Tatsuya's opinion on his own appearance: I doubt he actually really cares that much about it. He cares enough to bother to clean himself and stay relatively kept, obviously, but otherwise I don't think he makes a conscious effort to look "attractive" or anything of the sort. His physical appearance isn't his main concern at the moment.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Light..ish? And pretty clear, with no visual scarring. lol fictional characters
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
ahahahaha. It's a slight reddish-brown, and was once described as an "octopus-weiner" style in a doujin I read, once. I do not disagree with this either. His hair is very neat and in place, despite his... unique hairstyle.
9. What color are his eyes?
Same color as his hair. Brown.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
There's a strange mark on his hand that runs along his arm. It's pure black on his skin, with a strange white insignia in the middle, running down to about the base of his wrist. It's... kind of really noticeable! He won't show it off or anything, and will probably make efforts to hide it from some people, but in general it just looks very strange.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
lol bright red cyclist's suit. In Innocent Sin, Tatsuya wears the standard Seven Sister's High uniform. Which... isn't bad at all! And then you get to Eternal Punishment and he switches the rather conservative outfit to some red, attention-grabbing cyclist's suit... thing. I imagine he dresses with comfort in mind--nothing too dressy. And, even if the bright red... suit... thing... isn't the most conservative of styles, it does look easy to move around in.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
As stated above, I imagine Tatsuya dresses with comfort and convenience in mind. So, yes, they are comfortable and they do fit well. I don't think he dwells on that kind of things too much, anyway.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
... Probably, yeah.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
His voice is so deep. Sooooo deep.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Tatsuya doesn't speak a lot at all. When he does, it's usually curt, to-the-point, and even-sounding in tone. We see more of his "awkward" moments in Eternal Punishment: depending on the subject matter, he'll hesitate and stumble over some words, but ultimately he says things bluntly with maybe a bit of a pause between replies.
You can just hear the ellipses.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Noooot that I know of-- Oh. He's good at making motorcycle noises? idk
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Japan...ese... yeah.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
n...ooooo.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He's introverted so I'm sure he runs responses through his head before replying, but not to an astounding extent. Again, depending on the subject matter, he's either more likely or less likely to give his honest opinion.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
He is not. eloquent. At all. Tatsuya doesn't talk much. When he does it's regularly distant and to the point, except when he's expanding on some subjects, in which case it still sounds awkward. When he's more comfortable it settles down a bit and there's more substance--but he's not a speech giver by any means. Being eloquent is more... Jun or Maya's thing.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
I imagine he's got more street smarts than anything. It's a fact that Tatsuya frequently skipped class--both in Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, so the whole "book-smarts" portion of his life might not have gotten the attention it deserved. Still, it's not that he can't understand the material--I'm sure he's, at the very least, average in it. And he goes to Seven Sister's, so.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
A little bit of both. He won't plan out every single thing he does, but I'm sure he ponders on the important decisions before hand. I mean, look where impulsiveness got him now. So he puts more thought into things, but in the end he's probably best at reacting to events.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Tatsuya doesn't rationalize. He thinks, sure, but he doesn't think through steps or planning--he just. doesn't think that far. Tatsuya's the kind of person who ultimately does best in the situation. Again, planning ahead is more Jun and maybe Maya's thing.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
He. Got as far as senior in high school. Not like he went to classes or anything.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
He is good at making motorcycle noises. But seriously, his "area of expertise" is screwing up big time. Currently he's focusing on just fixing what he screwed up.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
THIS QUESTION WAS MADE FOR ME!!
Introvert. Tatsuya is not that good with people, disclosing emotions or the whole being social in general thing. He's quiet, maybe even shy, and generally keeps to himself.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Hahaha. When it comes to Eternal Punishment, Tatsuya's extremely driven to correct what he did. Outside of that spectrum, however, he doesn't really push towards the future, but it's not because he's laid-back about the whole thing. He just doesn't know what to do. He generally keeps his cool, but when it comes to people that screw around with him (HI NYARLATHOTEP DIE IN A HOLE. i guess you can join in too, philemon), he can kinda snap. Most of the time he's just |: though.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
He will indulge you with ellipses and then flick the lid of his zippo lighter. He doesn't really outstretch his hand to new people--and he'll act emotionally distant but not make it obvious. As for situations... he'll try to find information, and ultimately try to adapt accordingly.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Depends. In Eternal Punishment, he's more prone to act, just because of the context. In canon, reacting was always a little too late, so I think he's more prone to acting first before hand. Maybe if he's completely unsure about the subject he'll "wait and see", but something like that might unsettle him.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
I. Don't imagine he actively seeks fights. But if he needs to fight, he will.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Um. Probably prefers jokes and things? He'll... smile and nod at jokes with the rest of the group, but he's not one to go into hysterical laughter or anything.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
idk does extreme angst count as a mental disorder.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
OH MAN. Okay.
Meeting Maya, Jun and the rest of the Masquerade at Araya Shrine. This gave him friends. After that, getting locked in the shrine with Maya, to prevent her moving away, and the subsequent events with Tatsuya Sudou. This caused him to lose those friends. This event triggered his Persona, a power he couldn't control--giving him the whole distance distance distance mentality. This entire arc impacted his later personality.
Later, refusing to forget his friends and screwing up everyone's happy alternate fun-times because he wanted to be "selfish" and feared losing what he found so precious. Fixing that gives him purpose--something he's been lacking--but also burdens him. It pushes him away from the people he's managed to make a close connection with in Innocent Sin, and ironically makes him drift apart from the group. And in the end, he's still lonely.
14. What does he fear?
Losing his friends. Being rejected because of what he ultimately did (or more accurately didn't do). A repeat of the events they reseted in Innocent Sin--and then having to come to terms with the fact that the entire repeat was his fault.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
lol. Right now? Fixing everything. Everything.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
Well, it's a little too late for the whole "I don't want anyone to find out about my sin!" thing. I suppose it's valid in a way, since the rest of the Masquerade haven't found out.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
... lol. Not good. He's not very close to his family in general--just because. Daddy. ):
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
See above. Their relationship is awkward. Tatsuya doesn't hate Katsuya--as was stated in an interview--he just feels uncomfortable around him. Katsuya tries to be a bit of an intervention in Tatsuya's life, and seems to have a whole lot of ideas for the direction his little brother needs to take; in contrast, Tatsuya doesn't know at all. And that might be why they can't seem to get alone.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
idk.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Maya-nee's the Big Sister of their little group of Persona users, and he's very fond of her. He promised to protect her, and he's been trying his best to hold onto that promise.
He considers all of the people in the Masquerade his family, or at the very least close friends. They're all close to Tatsuya and he thinks highly of them, and their bond is quite obviously positive.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Jun. They met the same way he met everyone else--through the Masquerade. His best friend was the "former" leader of Masquerade, and they hit it off pretty well.
6. Does he have other close friends?
Again--the original Masquerade group.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
hahaha. He has trouble. No social skills at all, and "..." doesn't exactly make for a great conversation starter.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
In this case, he considering his friends part of his family. Still, internally, I'm sure Tatsuya would care about Katsuya in the same way he would care about Maya if something were to happen to him--just, it's not as clear yet. If it came between Katsuya and his friends, in the end he'd try to save everybody, rather than pick. Because Tatsuya doesn't do that.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
... Single.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
His first crush was Maya-nee, when he was young. Still, you have to remember that he was young, and Maya was that older sister figure in an otherwise uninvolved life. His latest crush... Well, Eikichi of course. (I'm joking.)
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Um. Probably he'll need someone that understands him. He doesn't speak a lot, so he needs someone patient-- who knows what he's saying and doesn't require some kind of vocal assurance all the time. Still, he's not looking for something like that at the moment.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
Yeeeesss. (I'm joking.)
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
NYARLATHOTEP!!! Also, Tatsuya is Tatsuya's worst enemy. And I don't mean Sudou. ):

I want to say he's equally homosexual and heterosexual. On one hand, womens like Maya-nee!! On the other hand... Jun. On the other other hand... Persona Protagonist.

Not... really important.

He'll flick his lighter while doing quote unquote the tango.

He is a Leo! It fits because it is fire-y and lion-y. He's got... some kind of charisma and...

Neither... I think.

POSITIVE THINKIIINGG. Well, no, but his whole personal code just involves keeping promises and doing... the best thing. He won't break the law... but he's not above operating beyond it, if the situation calls for it.

... Comfortable? idek he probably doesn't even think about money that much.

BELOW DIRT BECAUSE SOBB SINNNNN. But seriously, his social status is just... middle-class. It hasn't really changed?

He lives... where the hell does Tatsuya live-- idk maybe he sneaks back into his house and Katsuya doesn't notice. Either way he doesn't go home a lot because he has to ~fix everything~. Even before shit hit the fan, though, he avoided... Katsuya and his family.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
... Um, maybe like motorcycle parts? Fixing his bike? FOOD? I don't think he indulges that much.

He used to do a lot of part-time jobs. He liked fixing his motorbike and stuff, so working at those kinds of places was fun. Right now, though, he doesn't do... much...

... wow this is getting redundant. He likes fixing and working on his motorcycle, and pretty much... hanging out on his own... Currently he spends his free time running around trying to STOP THE APOCALYPSE!!1
