LanFest
So, i'm going to Intel's LANFest next month. a 2 day strait LAN party where they feed you.
Some co workers setup 2 teams of 6 peeps, becuse the listed events were 6 player teams.
And they only had 2 games listed: Call of Duty 4 and Team Fortress 2.
I had one of them, so I figued I could toss $50 and get the other.
well, recenty they changed things up a bit...
Teams will now be 5 or 9 people, depending on games.
They have added Call of Duty 5 (World at War), Left 4 Dead, Battlefield 2, and Counterstike.
At leats I have one of them... (Coutnerstirke comes with TF2).
Many peeps are pissed, becuse they had allready formed up into teams for the events, only to find out they have to add or cut people.
we have 12 players. That don't dice nice no matter what.
and, I have to buy more games to play, on top of my ticket I allready bought.
Going to skip CoD5, as that's $60 more then I want to pay.
So, CoD4, L4D, and BF2 are going to my "need" list.
At least BF2 is only $30. The others are $50.
So, $130 for games. More then I really want to spend.

I'll pick them up next week cash providing.
