Nasty things happen.  Alot.
But they never seem real until they happen to a place you have been.

A few years ago, I traveled by bus to a town named Bozeman, Mt.
I went out to visit kyrthira  whom lived there at the time, and was indeed born there.

Yesterday, she advised that a gas line exploded in downtown Bozeman.

I called up City Hall and they took my name down on a list of folks they can pool from to give to businesses who need help with ... whatever.

You're right. It doesn't seem real. I'm not entirely sure it'll be actually 'real' to me until I see it for myself. You hear about these things happening in cities you don't know, some historic building burns down and you go 'Wow, that must suck,' and then it happens somewhere you do know and all you can do is sit there and go 'oh my god.'

I've always considered Bozeman part of my life, part of who I am, and it sounds kinda silly and drama-ish but it feels to me right now like a piece of my LIFE just went up in flames, literally.

Well, that what happend to both of us.
Bit bit of our lives did.

Granted, it was a smaller 2 week or so part of mine... but still.
