Lady Strange & Mr Matsumoto –Session 11, part 1 mmestrange July 31 2009, 09:20:51 UTC
Unusually for the summer season, the knocker on the door of Malmaison, summer cottage to one Lady Strange had been removed. There could only be two reasons for this - that she was still holiday or that she had returned to her country seat. When questioned, the skeletal staff cleaning Malmaison would only say that her ladyship was indisposed and had returned to her country seat for the air. Her butler, the indomitable Cyclops, Brontes, however, would say that it was the time of year when her ladyship went into the doldrums ( ... )

“Hacking up the service staff, Bella?” chuckled a pleasant baritone voice some distance behind her. “You’re more a Sibyl than an executioner, my sweet. Like your name, your ‘frenzied mouth uttering things not to be laughed at, unadorned and unperfumed, yet reaches to a thousand years with her voice by aid of the god’. I was hoping we could talk, Mephistopheles gave me your DDA number and said I should call you if ever our clients coincided ( ... )

“Hmm, enthusiasm for passionate desire and a trilogy ring don’t mean a thing? That’s a laugh,” she snapped, tapping her free hand on her cane. “You’re probably wondering what he’s trying to cover up that he’s suddenly making you grand apologetic overtures when he has never done so before ( ... )

Vindication One! Iago knows Daisuke and Kei bumped into Ohno and Ayu outside La Glycune. Ha! I knew! *smirks*

Vindication Two! Iago knows about Ayu, which means he has been watching Juntoshi since 2009 to ascertain that they have indeed kept to the terms of the contract post-Arashi dissolution. This means that Iago is still keep tabs on all the Arashi men waiting for a chance to finish them off for good. It will be much easier to it now that they are separated and no longer a group. After all, breaking a twig is easier. Breaking a faggot (a bunch of twigs tied together is called a faggot in Br. Eng. as it is used to start a fire) is much more difficult. Ha! I knew it!

GIMA & OHNO’S SINSIt is fitting the ‘interval’ between the unwillingly corrupt Daisuke and the completely corrupted like Reiya, Kakia and Kei is sent to dig up the dirt on Ohno. I am talking about Gima, of course. Recall that Gima (儀間) = a gap/interval between the rites of admiration. This is because ( ... )

Why does this make it easier to squeeze MatsuJun? Well, Jun is an impulsive tower of emotions, capable of hating as well as he loves. This means Jun is the type who actually cares about human relationships, especially those close to him and especially those relationships he has personally fostered. Jun a person who is not only swayed by his emotions (as evinced from the blow up which resulted in him impulsively signing the 2009 contract), it also tells us that Jun cares deeply about the people around him. This is in sharp contrast to Ohno who is so NaSA that he doesn’t care about people because all he cares about is his lusts and desires ( ... )

(03) How will Gima go about digging up on Ohno and on Ayu? What will he find? Will he give himself away? To whom will he give himself away and how? What will be the consequences if he gives himself away?

(04) Ayu has asked before in a much earlier chapter why Juntoshi knows so much about celebrities, when Gima starts poking around, Ayu will start asking questions. Such a scenario is likely to happen given that Gima is a greenhorn at dissimulation. Ayu could notice Gima lurking and has a tête-à-tête with the fellow. Gima could let slip that Satoshi and Jun were celebs. That would give Ayu more fodder for questions. What will Jun and Ohno do in response to that?

(05) Will Jun interrogate Ayu as to what happened in his absence ( ... )

Of course this analysis is perfect and wonderful. The questions are all valid. I liked (04) in particular. Can't you just see bumbling Gima getting caught by charming curious little Ayumu (who initially mistakes him for Nino-niisan but realizes his mistake when he hears Gima's voice)? Panic, chaos, flail...It's gonna be great XDDD

ON NOTE ACCOMPANYING THE ROSES & DIAMONDS

I believe somewhere deep within Jun, he KNOWS Ohno has never bought you anything before. Because Ohno did so this time, Jun will be more than a little wary. Consistently in the Juntoshi relationship, Jun has been the one giving in the relationship and Ohno has been doing all the taking. We have been seeing this since the beginning of Itsumademo. Surely, Jun must have picked up the signs. I know I did.

Given that Ohno usually does all the taking in the Juntoshi relationship, Jun will question why is Ohno something do something extravagant like buying expensive roses and an expensive diamond ring when things go awry. Jun will question this because Ohno has NEVER done this before. This makes Jun even more wary of Ohno and what the NaSA!fellow has done. Because somewhere in Jun’s mind, he’s asking himself if Ohno’s just guilty or if Ohno’s hiding something. It would be a short step from thinking that to asking that question aloud, so my query is:

(06) Will Jun pose that question aloud? What ( ... )

I know guilt is preying on Ohno, hence the expensive and grand gesture of apology. But NaSA!Ohno must be very dense if he expects Jun to forgive him because of a few trinkets especially after he (NaSA!Ohno) was responsible for the near death of Ayu (via the capsicum induced allergy) and strenuously denied any wrongdoing. It is obvious that NaSA!Ohno is trying to buy Jun’s forgiveness with expensive gifts. When this is coupled to fact that Ohno has never done so before, Jun who is moved by simplicity and genuine affection will KNOW Ohno is up to something and IS covering up something ( ... )

To confirm this utter lack of self-awareness and Ohno’s overwhelming NaSa! tendencies, the note ends with “I missed you” addressed to Jun. Is that supposed to soften Jun’s heart? It’s a pathetic attempt to be sweet. In reality that ‘tu me manque’ or ‘I miss you’ is nothing more than an over-glorified expression of Ohno’s narcissistic sex addict tendencies because it tells us Ohno is still thinking with his penis, much like the Egyptian god Min (cf. my commentary and analysis in CH 17A under the Sho section). The ‘I miss you’ coming after the ‘I’m sorry I hurt Ayu by feeding him capsicum’ line is telling because it indicates Ohno is indirectly blaming Jun for Ayu’s allergy seizure. Read in context, Ohno’s apology note means:
I’m sorry I hurt Ayu by feeding him capsicum. I only did it because I so distracted from missing you [and the sex you provide]. - Satoshi, or he who is aware and cognisantThat’s as far as Satoshi’s awareness, cognisance and self-knowledge goes - it always goes back to the satiation of his own needs and his lust, ( ... )

DIAMOND TRILOGY RINGI like baubles, I like looking at them, and I always press my nose to Tiffany’s downtown and tell myself that I will buy a pendant from Tiffany for mummy and earrings for myself when I’m established with the PhD. But since we are not talking about me, let me move on the Harry Winston diamonds ( ... )
