Technically, it was a waste of dark prima materia to transport herself from Jun’s bedchamber to Ohno’s artroom when it was within walking distance. But her ladyship knew the impact of good showmanship and knew that she had to create an impact if she were to get the message through to Jun. Now that Jun was probably stewing in his own juices, Lady Strange, much cheered by the enjoyable torture she had meted out, was able to meet her next client, Ohno Satoshi, in tolerable spirits.

Peering over the easel where a canvas slab was mounted, Lady Strange allowed a humorous aspect to cross her gaze as she snatched the brush from Ohno’s hand. “Fancy having a play date with Nelly? The little hydra of Tartarus misses you so,” she hallooed in salutation.

“Sensei…” The veriest hint of a flicker of surprised entered Ohno’s eyes as the devil set down the paintbrush and draped herself around his shoulders.
