I was biking down the crosswalk on the left side of Washington, which is a one way going east. Clinton is a one way going south. The light turned yellow facing Washington and then red while I was in the intersection, but anyone paying attention in their car would have seen me hurring up to cross ( ... )

man, i am really sorry your luck has not been the best lately. i'm really sorry your bikes got stolen, i know how much that sucks. and i'm especially sorry you got hit by a car today. i've never actually been hit, just a lot of really close calls. it's pretty much my worst fear.
i guess all i can say is that i hope things turn around for you, as i'm sure they will. tough times just remind us how great the good times are.

Aw...you're a sweetheart.

It's mostly stuff that can be fixed. At least one bike was found, only my wheel is fucked up and I have bruises not breaks, and I got most of my equipment.

Plus making a new friend because you surprise them with the parts they need and work on bikes for hours is totally fun and awesome.

man, when it rains, it pours buckets of shit, don't it? i'm sorry to hear about the crash on top of the theft... at least the bike gods brought a little happy back. have you got something to ride, what with tallboy and your shorty out of commission?

Fortunately, all I had to do was replace the front wheel, which took all of 5 seconds this morning.

But I've still got:

+ Bangarang (the black chopper)
+ The new sweet (still nameless) silver 24" cruiser chopper Rob and I built Sunday night, and
+ The singlespeed with no brakes right now.

So I'd be fine (if extremely pissed) regardless - but yay for only my wheel being busted and not my bike, body, or sanity.

And TATTOO EQUIPMENT AAHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh

Bastards didn't send the power supply and other stuff yet though. Fuck them aarrgh
