Ok. This chick in my class was asking me what Lolita was about. So I told her (14 year old has sex with a man in his 40's, pretty much). And she goes "oh..that's gay."
"..gay? My book doesn't take it up the spine/ass/whatever."
Jesus, people need to expand what little vocabulary they have.

And yes. Gay should not really be a NEGATIVE word. :\
