Save the Date: I will be giving a recital with contemporary music pianist extraordonaire Kathy Supove on April 24th, 2008 through the VIM Tribeca contemporary music concert series at Gallerie Icosahedron in Tribeca, NYC.

And in case you wanted to stalk me more immediately:

oh hell, just invite people over; if you do it right, they'll paint for you. that's how you know who your real freinds are. I mean. you should see some of the dumps i lived in. im' like, if people want to see me they won't care about what i'm living in!!!

haha so many people have told me that I should invite my friends over and ask them to paint, but I don't know, I kinda feel bad about doing that because no one has ever asked me to help them paint so its not like something that people owe me a favor or anything. And at this point its pretty much done. I just need to add a little more to the top coat and tidy up the edges. I can't wait to get my big rug in there and finally take all that damn plastic covering off everything.

Its not so much that I worry about other people caring what kind of dump I'm living in. Its more that when I have people over I like to have my place at least be clean. Its just a personal thing.

The concert is on Moore Street between Varrick and Hudson. I think the 1 train has a stop right near there. Canal street? And then its a pretty short walk from there. I think the Gallery website has directions that are more precise. Don't worry, I'll be mailing out all that info (directions, etc) in a few months.

You are so BIG TIME! Way to go! Will the series be recorded? I doubt I could make it for the performance, but I'd love to hear it!
