Kairos - the Ancient Greek word for the general concept of time, y/n? Do I remember that much from my Ancient Greek class?
But anyhow, renaming costs 15 bucks usually (apparently 12, at the moment, until December 31st). You go to the LJ store, by a renaming token, and then go here to actually do the renaming.
I actually didn't discover those extra things about Kairos until after I had picked the name, but yes that's correct. The symbolism of it for me stems from the concept of a person called the Kairos in the book that I'm reading, kind of in relation to the conversation I had with Becky yesterday.
Seriously? That's kind of depressing... I'm not sure I want to pay money to change my name... I just really want it to say Kairos
