Wow. I grew up with Garfield, too, and I can't help but be impressed with how much story is packed into these few minutes.
I'll admit, one of the reasons I get frustrated with watching children's programming nowadays is because it feels too slow. Not too adult, per se, like it's been dumbed down, but just too slow. And a part of me questions that because it feels like using a baby voice to talk to a child versus allowing the child to absorb the world.
Basically, I think children can pick up a lot and a fast storytelling pace like what's seen in Life No. 7 is brilliant.
