I just got back from my brother's
band's first show at Alley Katz.
They're freshmen in high school
playing death metal, so you have
to take it for what it is, but deep
down, there's potential festering
that will surely erupt in due time.
In the meantime, I'm just proud to
be able to watch my baby brother
pursue his dreams on stage in person.

Last night, Jen and I drove
up to DC for the M83 show.
We shopped and had dinner
in Georgetown beforehand.
I ran into Jeff at the show,
so we stood with him and
his friend during M83's set.
No "Teen Angst" is my only
complaint/disappointment.
