As much as I like cooking various asian dishes and desserts, I do not like the fact I need some ingredients too obscure even for my favorite asian market. :| I couldn't find true pandan essence and had to resort to buying that shit online. (soooo expensive ahg D

If I ever come upon it when wondering various Asian stores, which I tend to do more lately, I'll note the price for you. Maybe it's cheaper than online. Just wondering which part of Asia you cooking from... China? Korea? Japan? It may help me track that shit down.

Thailand. To my understanding that's where pandan mostly comes from. :o

Anything less than $12 would be awesome. :D
