A culinary adventure.
Updated: November 1, 2009

- All foods are (for the most part) friendly for consumption by any species, but if there are any questions about your character's diet in particular, feel free to ask a mod.
- We have offered alternatives for vegetarians/vegans, but if your character has another special diet, please let us know.

Your health is extremely important to us and a big part of that includes what you eat. Our food selection has been prepared around the idea of a healthy diet, though a few sacrifices had to be made in the area of taste. We do, however, guarantee that you will not be disappointed.*

[* We cannot guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Or even that the food is all that healthy or safe.]

Effects: The food on these layers have a few little... quirks. Side effects, if you will. They are noted beside the appropriate foods in red.

PLEASE NOTE: At the moment, your characters are still not aware of time passing, therefore the food menu will appear random to them. The days are simply listed there for *player reference* so that you are aware of what foods are available on any certain day.

ALL WEEKSandwiches - Turkey, bologna and cheese, and peanut butter and jelly. PB&J comes unassembled, with two slices of white bread, a cup of peanut butter, and your choice of strawberry or grape jelly or orange marmalade.
Garden Salad - Served with a choice of Italian, French, or fat-free ranch dressing.
Fresh Fruit - Apples, oranges, grapes, grapefruit, or bananas.
Cold Cereal - Generic versions of Corn Flakes, Frosted Mini Wheats, Lucky Charms, and Cheerios.
Toast - Wheat or white, butter pads available, as well as a choice of strawberry or grape jelly or oragne marmalade.
Gelatin - Strawberry, cherry, grape, or lime (Effect: Uncontrollable shaking.)
Donuts - Available in plain, glazed, powdered, and chocolate frosted.
Cheesecake - Available plain or with strawberry or blueberry topping.
Chocolate cake - With chocolate icing. (Effect: Nightmares and night terrors.)
Cupcakes - Chocolate with chocolate frosting, yellow with vanilla frosting, and strawberry with vanilla frosting.
Cookies - Chocolate chip, oatmeal, peanut butter, and sugar. (Effect: Hallucinations.)
Carrot Sticks - Served with fat-free ranch dressing for dipping.
Celery Sticks - Served with peanut butter for dipping.
Clam Chowder - A hearty New England treat. (Effect: Causes arousal.)
SUNDAYBREAKFASTSausage Biscuits - A greasy sausage patty served between two hockey puck hard biscuit halves.

Vegan Option: Vegan Muffins - It's hard to tell which of the bland ingredients present in this concoction tastes stronger, the bran or the unflavored tofu.

LUNCHChicken Fried Steak - Supposedly this is steak, but how can it be steak if it's chicken fried? It doesn't really matter, this mystery meat is covered in enough thick, greasy batter to disguise the taste of whatever it was before. Served with rubbery green beens to compliment it. (Effect: Vomiting.)

Vegan Option: Pasta Salad - A rotini salad served with a variety of unidentifiable bits of color that are, supposedly, vegetables. The sauce it is served in is straight vinegar.

DINNERMeat Loaf - A slab of ground beef topped with globs of ketchup and served with lumpy mashed potatoes.

Vegan Option: Soba and Peanut Sauce - Soba noodles doused in peanut sauce (hope you're not allergic to peanuts) and topped off with chopped bits of broccoli.MONDAY & THURSDAYBREAKFASTBacon & Eggs - It's unclear whether these are meant to be scrambled or fried as it seems the cook could not decide what they wanted to do. The finished product is a decidedly runny place in between. The bacon is either too fatty or burnt to a crisp.

Yogurt - The texture is a little lumpy but, otherwise, it seems largely edible.

LUNCHGrilled Cheese Sandwich - The main ingredient is cheese but the end result is greasy enough that one might wonder if there wasn't more PAM used in the mix.

Soy Grilled Cheese Sandwich - Much like the above, only the cheese has gone from overly flavored government grade to a rather bland sort of soy cheese.

DINNERBaked Ziti - Layers of rubbery ziti pasta mixed with slightly questionable ground beef, stringy cheese, and spaghetti sauce. (Effect: Crying blood.)

Vegan Option: Veggie Pot Pie - A myriad of vegetables served inside a thick sort of brothy goo inside of a curst that is a little burnt around the edges.
TUESDAY & FRIDAYBREAKFASTWaffles - They're a little stiff, making one wonder if they're of the Eggo variety. But the waffles do come with a variety of jelly packets (grape, strawberry, apple) as well as maple syrup to pour over them.

Vegan Option: Vegan Pancakes - Prepared with soy milk and egg substitute. Same toppings available as the waffles.

LUNCHFishsticks - Just like your mom used to make when she didn't have the time to cook, these little slivers of processed fish are a bit floppy and the batter a little soggy in the middle.

Veggie Burger - Much like the fishsticks these veggie patties taste like something that was stuffed in the back of your grocer's freezer section and forgotten for a while.

DINNERBeef Stew - Chunks of hearty beef (well, we think it's beef) are mixed slices of potato, carrots, and celery in a thick, seasoned broth.

Vegan Option: Vegetarian Chilli - A hearty blend of tomatoes and corn that doesn't skimp on the spices. ...Seriously, you may want to grab a glass of milk for this one. It's like swallowing napalm. (Effect: Horrible burning sensation on the throat and tongue.)WEDNESDAY & SATURDAYBREAKFASTBreakfast Casserole - Mixing egg, cheese, sausage and a breaded filler, this casserole is a knock-out. Literally. (effect: Coma [hiatus fodder])

Vegan Option: Oatmeal - It's a little gray and a little lumpy, but dump on enough sugar and you'll never notice.

LUNCHHamburger and Fries - The patty is thin and a little grizzly, the lettuce a little wilted, and the fries a bit floppy. Basically the same fair you would find in fast food establishments around the globe!

Vegan Option: Sloppy Janes - Made up of a chewy kind of tofu known as tempeh, and a faux meat sauce spread over a (slightly stale) wheat bun.

DINNERRoast Turkey - Various pieces of turkey seasoned with rosemary and paprika. It's a little tough and dry in most places, but that's what gravy's for, right? Served with dressing.

Vegan Option: Teriyaki Tofu Stir Fry - A mix of broccoli, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms and, presumably, some white stuff that's supposed to be tofu all fried up together in a vegan teriyaki sauce.Layout profile code thanks to ReversesCollide
