Warnings: So much bromance.
It was usual for him to come down to the cafeteria and have a pastry and a cup of coffee. He had been coming at least once a day now, sometimes lasting as long as two hours. He would keep to himself, sometimes smiling and saying hello to anyone who said hello to him. He didn't want to exactly be alone, but he didn't want to think about certain issues that once again started tearing Hallelujah and himself apart. He would ignore the irony that they were already apart, as he didn't have the greatest sense of humor about it all.
So there he was, sitting at an empty table, sipping at his coffee and eating a scone like pastry. It wasn't the best tasting thing, but he was fine with it. He promised Hallelujah he would never eat another muffin again, and he was glad to promise such a thing. Maybe if he felt like it, he would get some ice cream after he finished his coffee. He could not recall the last time he ate ice cream, but he had got it plenty of times for Hallelujah. The only time he could remember eating ice cream was for his birthday, and he wasn't sure how long ago that was.
