I'm currently doing research for a paper on WWII-time Yugoslavia, and bless the Western historians for trying to explain in layman's terms the differences and reasons for antagonism between Serbs and Croats. But I will scream if I see the phrase "[the Catholic Croats and the] Greek Orthodox Serbs" one more time. Greeks are Greek Orthodox and Serbs

And is it a must to use just western books?

Well, it's not a must to use western books but they're pretty unavoidable where I am. They tend to be slightly more unbiased than works written by Yugo authors. :-)
