I was eating lunch from Panda Express in the Memorial Union today when inadvertently I ate a chili pepper that had been sneaked into my chicken and it was the worst thing that has ever happened to me.

yikes! i have had that happen to me before too so i completely understand your pain. if you swish vinegar in your mouth it will go away quickly.
