It feels like almost every time I write on here, I write something really negative. Generally, I write it thinking/hoping someone will write something back that cheers me up, but more and more I'm getting the impression that people look at my post, and think something along the lines of "yep, he's still too much of a train wreck for me deal with

You must remember, that at the heart of Christianity is CHRIST. Maybe this means I'm going to hell, but I tend to look more directly to his words and actions, and then take the rest of the Good Book with a grain of salt. If you examine what Christ did in his lifetime, he never really preached all that fire and brimstone, not a bit. He was a man of peace, love, tolerance and acceptance. And that's what I prefer to model my interpretation of Christianity after.

As to the other stuff... cheer up! You have a cat, cats are supposed to lower blood pressure.
