I'm probably back now.

I've nothing to say for myself, except that I'm back...

There wasn't much chance for me to have time to myself - things got out of control in the office, on account of a ravening feral Minister - but I am feeling a bit more together than I was. There's still a fair distance to cover, but I'll get there.

Yes, I'll come by sooner or later. I do lurk there quite often, but just as I'm almost ready to log in again I see some truly irritating post... But never mind that. I'm far too easily irritated these days.

nah, the're a pretty red necked bunch, but I am addicted, probably cos I got made a mug so soon after joining.....and I have been working behind the scenes on the new look for the past 5 months, this change was supposed to be febuary, but Travey decided to start from scratch with the programming, it really will blow some people away

I've just been having a lurk... H'mmm. That's two charming people dealt with at least. (Note to everyone else: It's all just like a trolling on h2g2, but less civilised.)

Welcome back Ivan!

The trolling 'n stuff & general stupidity on many sites is making me despair too. The latest is i am getting emails from the Assemblage Art Group that are really pissing me off. You would think a group that's supposedly simply to share art ideas would be immune from silliness but nope!

Some arse started a splinter group & now people are whinging "aww, you don't want to play in *my* playground, you want to play in his; right then, I'm gonna ban you from this group "

So i get emails with the subject heading "I can see I'm not wanted round here" & i think we all know the sinking feeling that goes with seeing that sort of thing.

Maybe repeated use of internet leads to regression?

Terri

The thing that bothers me most about online stuff is that there are so many people online who behave in a way that they couldn't possibly get away with in RL. I can't understand why they find it acceptable to carry on like that. I mean, really, what's wrong with being civilised and courteous in both modes?

The degree to which some people will stalk and attack online would be criminal in RL. I don't get that third-grade playground crap, either, involving having to choose between one online friend and another just because some people refuse to get along with anyone. Sheesh. I outgrew that stuff 25 years ago!

Nice chatting with you earlier- Uncle V and Zendevil.
