Steps towards something like normal life

Today was a particularly good day in the office. A range of my superiors admitted to me, in public, that the place has been run very badly for a few years now. This won't help immediately, but I do feel vindicated. All my complaining and moaning is starting to get through to them, at last, at long last. It's a pleasant feeling, having people listen

I am a "shiny object" person, myself. I was described as a raccoon at the art supply store I worked at because every time some new and unusual paint or pigment came in, I would be in there to check and see if it was gold, silver, metallic or iridescent. If it was, I would be all a-glee with the possibilities and spend weeks playing with it to see what it would do....
