I like this essay as much as I did the first time I read it.

The world would be better if we could do away with all these gender restrictions. The women's movement has helped, but while men benefit from their historical position of power (like whites, and Bushes - oh wait, they really benefit right now), the restrictions on masculine roles are actually stricter and not at all beneficial to emotional well-being.
