The Boxing Day sales were for me a wonderful thing. Firstly, because I did not have to work. Secondly, because I was able to purchase many cheap toys for conversion into wargaming stuff(tm). In further amphibious transport news, the USS New York (LPD-21 - a San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock) was christened today. It apparently deploys either an LCU or two LCACs, 14 EFVs, and either two Ospreys or four Sea Knights. Looks pretty shiny :-)
