Over the past week, I spent some time discussing matters spiritual with my family of origin. What struck me is that I have become adept at creating complex statements of technical matters and points of fine detail, but I've lost the knack of stating things simply. i would add to this that some of the choices we make are in no way conscious or intentional, and the consciousness and intention of others, responding to our unconscious, unintentional choices, can totally derail our lives. We lose innocence this way, and often it is through no fault of our own. We do the best we can with the resources available to us at any given moment, which is often not very much at all.

Yes. And yes again. There are a few things different for myself, but not so very different. I know I need to take more time so that I can formulate these kinds of statements in my own words for my own self, but damn, this is pretty close, if not right on, to what I believe.

I like this all a lot, especially "The Universe is perfect as it is, right now. It is important to note that 'perfect' is not the same as 'nice' or 'pleasant.' It is also perfectly fair. Any unfairness (on a cosmic level, at least) is an artifact of limited human perception."

Seriously, dude, this is one fine piece of thinking.

Of course it helps that I share much of your Vision and Meaning so there is an aesthetic appreciation for the clarity of speech here as well as the inclusion of many of my heart-principles.
