definitely. when i find a new groove or pattern, i play around with it all over the set to find some cool rhythm. it's good times

its really intimidating a lot, i am listening to myself a lot more critically lately and there is so much technical stuff i find really difficult still... theory is not so bad, i'm just not nearly as good a player as i once may have perceived

but yes i know how you feel

the worse you feel you are the harder you work. people who think they're good get lazy at their level of comfort and then stop striving to get better. Whenever im drawing and i think its going really shitty it just motivates me to draw more.
