Today I was walking through the corridor at work and there was a man sitting there without toes--just a bloodied stump wrapped in a clear bandage. Then I went for lunch. No chili for me, thanks.

Apparently it's either bloodied stumps or convicts chained to their beds. At least I knew stump-man wasn't going to get up and chase me. Comforting.

The grant was finally submitted and my boss got drunk at lunch. It was mildly awesome.

The radiology grant is due Monday morning. I can't wait to have time to actually sleep!

I am at work. My boss is taking a nap. He hasn't slept in approximately 4 days. He told me to do whatever I wanted while he sleeps--so naturally I sign onto the internet. Stephanie, you signed off right as I signed on. I'm really going to develop a complex. Sigh.

There are 15 45 year old women in my house and I am drunk. The scary part is that most of them are my old middle school teachers.

"Hi, Mrs. "Blah blah blah", I am feeling goooood."

I recommend stealing daiquiris and champagne whenever your mother has friends over. Yeah.

Today driving home from work I was amused--twice. The amusement came in the form of bumper stickers.

Miles on my car today: 99. Just my typical Monday-Thursday contribution to the environment. Sigh.

I think I have a problem. Taking a nap somehow makes me feel a strange twinge of guilt. That's not normal. So I took a nap today and when I woke up I helped fertilize palm trees to make up for it. Um yeah ( Read more... )
