It's things like this that make me love the Fandom so much. Furries are some of the most generous people around. Always willing to help out each other and good people like Fernando, Even if they don't know them. :)
Verry Good good to see another AC staple saved hey not a bad idea after all were are guests at his place why not return the favor and invite him to ours ^__^
While I realize that this was not done for publicity, I did a search a few days ago and found nothing about this in either of Pittsburgh's daily newspapers. Granted, there was the story on at least one of the local television stations, but...
Given that the gesture to Fernando is a solid, positive message to the business community of Pittsburgh, and makes an important statement about how AC fits within Pittsburgh's fabric, that's mildly surprising. Has anyone told the mayor's office?
Yes, someone from VisitPittsburgh was even present. They were very excited. We simply didn't get any excitement out of the local media. They were like, "Meh." I can't figure it.
Perhaps the news wasn't sensational enough for them to print. Must be the newspaper equivalent to sweeps week. Now, if somebody had caught on fire during the event, they probably would've put a blurb in the paper.
