Oh god.. how tragic. Still, at least he lived a magnificent life. Godspeed, Neil, you are now back home with the stars.

The first man to set foot on an astral body outside of Earth, forever a giant in the worlds of firsts. He has reached Tranquility base.

A sad day, indeed. Ever since I first learned of his achievement I wanted to walk in his footsteps!

I am truly saddened to hear of his passing. These great men, who were fondly referred to as Ancient Astronauts within the Space Program, are growing fewer in number. We now have only 8 of the 12 moon walkers still with us, and I despair at the thought that none of them will live to see a returned human presence to the Moon, or anywhere beyond low earth orbit where we have been languishing for the last 40 years.
