United 93

Paul Greengrass's United 93 is a flat out excellent movie. It accomplishes exactly what it sets out to in a powerful and intellegent way. Much like Greengrass's Bloody Sunday, it is a perfect distillment of a disturbing and important slice of history. Dude, don't be hatin on Tora Tora Tora. That said, you're right to say everything else. A film's timeliness doesn't change its greatness, or its art. That's sort of the nature of the whole endeavor.

Agreed, don't hate on Tora! Tora! Tora! It was a solid movie filmed in an unorthodox style that might be off-putting.

You know how I feel about this. "Too Soon," so to speak, not because it's offensive but because, at least as I see it, there really isn't a lot more to be said that hasn't already been.
