I just love how I've been taking this language for almost a year, and I still have no way of expressing that I need to eat. I don't know how to say "I'm hungry," or "I want food." Anna gou'an - I'm hungry. That's spelled geem, alif, hemsa, ain and ends in fethhatain.

A'aaiz akl - I want food. A'aiz is ain, alif, zayn although it's colloquial and you probably won't see it spelled out too often. Akl is alif, kalf, lamb and takes a short 'a' sound, so you will pronounce it more like "ekkl."

Fayn ghourft al-hammam? - Where's the bathroom? Ghourfa is "room" and hammam is "bath." Ghain, re, fe, ta marbuta followed by hha, meem, alif, meem.
