Spinach torta

Based on one of my room-mates feast recipes. This easy version was inspired by not having gone grocery shopping and just using what was in the fridge. It came out so well that if I had put it in a pie-crust I probably would have eaten the whole thing myself

that sounds delicious. though gonna have to do some substitutions since black pepper allergy. but i have white and that does not make me sick much.

You could probably swap allspice for the black pepper, although you might also want to leave out the cloves if you did that.

Anytime I hear "torta" I really hear "Horta." As in Star Trek.

Spinach Horta: Go out into the kitchen, to the stove of the ages. Cry for the cheese. Walk carefully in the vault of tomorrow's breakfast.

I was afraid this meme would be contagious, but I have had the leftovers several times without thinking of Star Trek or Hortas.
