I'm gonna hold off till summer for the road trip, I think- that's when Phil drops the price to four bucks a kilo if we bring our own pails to get the stuff straight from the tank. Right now all he's got is what's in his own containers, and since I can get it via Kat (who travels back and forth a lot), I don't think it's worth making a trip right now. But when we can stock up for twenty percent off the winter price, we'll definitely have to hit the road!
Well, eating it does come to mind... the last three kilos I bought (at the end of September) is nearly gone by now. My sort-of girlfriend's dad is a beekeeper, and since I can get the stuff for five bucks a kilo all winter (or until his supply runs out), I figure why not? And I've never bought honey from anyone I don't know- it would just feel weird.
As for the fig, I'm afraid I can't really help you out with where to pick one up- I inherited this one from Lawrence when he moved to Toronto. December's not a good time to move plants across Ontario in a U-Haul, so all of his stayed with me: a philodendron, a pot of bamboo, some sort of aglomena-type thing and the fig tree.
:O That's awesome, Rocky Horror costuming should be the highlight of his year then! I kinda wish I could do that...but it's too cold, and I don't have fishnet ;) hahaha. Sweeeeeeet. How on earth did you manage to get your bedding cat hair-free? I'm just curious now, haha.
In our basement we have a miraculous device known as a Washing Machine, which I have been known to use on occasion. Clean bedding is a wonderful wonderful thing, I tell you. And that candle wax was getting quite annoying.
Admittedly, in a day or two it'll all be full of cat hair again, but them's the breaks.

Also, I noticed that your honey supply will be plentiful for the next little while... I suppose we'll have to roadtrip another time?
