I dropped my Calc class and I'm set on not being a math major anymore. I failed my test and it would be extremely difficult to pass the class and I don't want to fuck up my GPA, especially if I want to transfer schools, which I'm seriously considering. I'm also thinking about taking some time off of school to think about what I really want to do. ( Read more... )

school is hard. no one said it would be easy. ESPECIALLY in a math major. don't get discouraged by one test score. most kids fail a class or two. i've heard that of ochem I and II at CU, it is incredibly rare for someone to pass both on the first try, but ya know... there are a ton of chem majors at that school. they all had to keep trying.

this is sort of what i did. i saw my scores for my chemE classes and decided that major was too hard for me. mostly because i didn't really feel like putting any effort into it. and that's ok by me, i can't put my heart into school so how the hell would i expect to put my heart into work? figure out what is going to be fine by you. and if you want to come out here and meet me in europe, i might be out here for quite awhile....
