Sungkyunkwan Scandal - Yongha/Jaeshin - 173 words
It’s already night when Yongha enters Jaeshin’s room, and Jaeshin is asleep on the floor, still wearing his clothes. Yongha slips inside, making sure the door doesn’t slam shut behind him, and sits down next to Jaeshin.
“Hey, Geoloh, Geoloh,” he hisses and pokes Jaeshin until he gets a reaction. “Wake up, come on.”
Jaeshin groans and rolls over, glaring at Yongha, his hair hanging all over his face. Yongha grins at him, and leans down to stroke the hair away from his face.
“What do you want,” Jaeshin frowns.
“Drink with me?” Yongha asks and shakes the bottle of soju he brought with him. Jaeshin just continues to stare at him, before shaking his head.
“I’m gonna sleep,” he says and changes position so he lies more comfortably.
“You’re no fun,” Yongha frowns. “I can’t drink on my own.”
Jaeshin groans again, and reaches out with his hand to pull Yongha down next to him. Yongha stills, and when he’s sure Jaeshin’s asleep again, he wraps a careful hand around Jaeshin’s wrist.
Mir moves back into the dorms - 102 words
When Cheolyong moves back into the dorm, Seungho feels a stone drop from his chest. Not that he will admit it out loud, but it doesn’t feel right when he’s missing, when anyone’s missing - Seungho’s habit of checking the members late at night has been disturbed for the last months, and he always goes to bed with a feeling of dread, and when he wakes up in the morning he’s more stressed that usual.
But now Cheolyong’s back, and Seungho allows himself a smile, and when he hugs Cheolyong as hard as he dares, his arms linger longer than they did before.
School AU, Running Man, Jongkook/Haha(Donghoon) - 136 words
Jongkook is two years older than him, but here it doesn’t matter that much - students from all years and different schools are gathered, with their heads bent over their desks, scribbling down what the teacher says.
Donghoon just doodles stick figures on the papers and in the books, and when the teacher isn’t looking his way, he quickly squiggles down a few words on a small piece of paper, and throws it in Jongkook’s general direction.
Jongkook doesn’t react right away, but then he reaches for the note, unfolding it quickly after making sure the teacher is concentrated on something else, and then he’s turning around, smiling and nodding at Donghoon, who can’t do anything but grin back.
The rest of the time Donghoon spends drawing figures on the squared paper, and he can’t stop smiling.
Apocalyptic BEAST
Junhyung takes a long drag from his cigarette; legs crouched up in front of him, eyes focused on the sky above them. Doojoon watches him for a moment, before turning his head to stare at the expanding sun. The view from their rooftop is great - they can see every little change in the clouds and the skies beyond that, as well as the city down below.
“We should go search for the others,” Doojoon says after a while.
“What’s the point?” Junhyung mumbles around the cigarette. “We’re all going to die anyway.”
“You don’t know that,” Doojoon says, and Junhyung just shrugs. They fall silent again, until Junhyung flicks the cigarette away and stands up.
“Are you coming or not?” he asks when Doojoon just looks at him, and Doojoon stands up behind him.
“I thought you didn’t want to?”
Junhyung shrugs again and Doojoon lets a small smile on his face. “It’s better than just sitting here.”
Mermaid AU, Rain/Joon - 121 words
The first time they meet, it’s late summer, and the water is warm around Changsun’s feet - he’s sitting on a slippery rock with his feet in the ocean, and the sun is shining, but it’s windy, and Changsun thinks it might storm later. Jihoon has water up to his chest, leaning his back against a big rock.
“I never thought I’d meet a mermaid,” Changsun says, quietly, and digs his nails into the soft algae covering the stone. Jihoon twitches.
“I’m male,” he says, his voice on the edge between annoyed and half asleep. “I’m a merman.”
“What’s it like,” Changsun says, and thinks, obviously staring at Jihoon’s dark blue fishtail, his fingers twitching in the general direction. “Being a mermaid?”
