Lysander's mood had shifted and gotten increasingly sullen over time his twin sister Lorie had fallen ill. While near her he tried his best to keep a positive demeanor, truly hoping she would get better and the treatments would start working. After a few months though, when nothing seemed to be making her any better, he just found himself hateful and angry. More than anything he wanted to fix her, he wanted to take the sickness away from her. First years struggle to swim as the waters reach their shoulders, and someone is fortunate enough to reach the portrait the locks them in, opening so that the water can flow out and into the dungeon corridors.

When that issue’s gone the Slytherins realise they have a bigger problem.

The water bubbles.

Someone screams and is pulled under the water.

They don’t resurface.

[more]Everyone is now rushing for the tiny exit into the dungeons, packing the narrow passage until they’re climbing over each other in their haste. A few get trampled and trapped under the deathly flow of water... )
