in all honesty I'm a huge mark for my iphone. I just want to warn you though if you do go blackberry do NOT get the blackberry storm. I have friends who are locked into a contract for that phone and they hate it.
I actually don't have specific reasons but I know 3 people that think its an awful phone and are locked into 3 years with it.
As for marking out on the iphone I generally mark out because its easy to use for me, a major improvement from my last phone (which was just a basic non-smart samsung) and over all I've just been generally in love with apple products ever since I bought an imac a few years back (and their service has been great too)
Um. I have a BB and I'm fairly satisfied by it. But, I have friends who swear by the iPhone, so I dunno. What do you want to use it for? (besides the obvious?)
Ok. Well, the email and txting are fine on the BB. I tend not to use the Blackberry Messenger because I can never remember how to use it and don't care (I usually ignore requests to be BBM buddies and when people tell me to use it I tell them to txt me instead because IT'S JUST AS EASY!!! JESUS H CHRIST...).
And I don't have a memory card so I don't take photos with it, so I dunno about the quality of the photos taken.

I would actually suggest neither of those phones and try to pick up a Droid or something.

I don't know if I want a physical keyboard, but I can't hack tiny buttons.

I don't know, I've never had a cell phone before. I'm jumping into the deep end.
