[Jade whirls around, frowning when he sees a girl. His outfit would look much better on her. He falls back until he's standing next to her.]

[He summons his spear, but it comes out as...a sword? No, that simply won't do. Jade manages to change it back to a spear, but it takes far more effort than usual.]
