I wouldn't say I was a FAN. I was AWARE of his existance as a writer, I owned a few of his books, and I really enjoyed City Boy, but that was enough to make a note here.

Mike at work, whom no one here knows, to my knowledge, tells me that the light rail is planning to expand to very near my house. This means that I'll be able to take public transportation instead of making my 1.5 hour each way commute.
