so, the beautiful town of new hope, pa is slowly being flooded. by the mighty deleware. i live right on that river so of course i'm being evacuated. good thing my grandparents gave me the keys to their apartment in the city ( Read more... )

we had a couple inches in our basement today.
spent the morning with the wet vac.
but wow! evacuated!?

i can't get over that you live in PA...

kristi was in town last week! did you hear? i took my lil bro into philly and the three of us hung out on south street. she's not eating dairy anymore.

i don't know when i'll visit! cause jeff was here fri-tues, and today was my dad's birthday, and then my uncle's visiting, and i'm probably going to meet karen in dc for fourth of july, and kerry's back from australia and i think she wants to come up soon, and we're probably going on vacation at some point, and i don't have a car.
but i will!
and if you have a free weekend or something, or want to do some laundry, i mean you're always welcome to come visit here.

The talk of NYC reminds me that a while back, Dylan (from Neopets, if you don't remember) found out you were in the city often and wanted me to ask if you wanted to have coffee or lunch or something like that. I forgot to ages back, but it'd be a free meal or whatever, since he's the sort to always insist on paying.

sounds like a good idea to me. my life's not terribly exciting at the moment so meeting new people is awesome, even if i already sort-of-not-really know the person!
