Had a pretty wicked time - great bands and great company, although some things didn't exactly go to plan (like the hotel, the flights and the weather!). I also have some reservations about the festival itself and its organisation (or lack of!), but all in all can't grumble too much!

sounds like you had a much better time than i did this weekend, and im told combichrist and rotersand are playing gigs in england in the not too distant so i might check em out.

Rotersand are definitely worth checking out. I used to think they were a bit of a 1 song band but they've got some quite good material.

The toilet situation was a bit nuts. I don't think they would get a licence in this country without access to toilets. Apparently on the Sunday they were giving out 'toilet passes' to selected people. I'm not too sure what the criteria were for getting a pass - maybe you had to walk around cross legged and scream 'I need to pee' at the top of your voice...

I completely agree about Suicide Commando. They have only one track I'd even really consider a tune, the rest is all dodgy masturbatory ramblings about serial killers, like it's a random Bizarre Magazine article minced up and turned into music (loose use of the word) like sopme ghastly Belgian black pudding, which leads me to his critical fault: He's Belgian.

Wish I could've been there. I hope you're not too festivalled out for M'era Luna :)
