WHOO. Hope this is cool! mightbearedneck April 1 2011, 07:58:01 UTC
Shit. Shit. What the shit. All George Gordon Haggard Jr. remembered before here was a vague recollection of Sedaristan. Gold. Trucks. He remembered... hey, yeah. No, him and Redford and Marlowe and Sweetwater were along the border of Sedaristan watching the trucks went by. He went after them. No particular qualms about being a U.S. soldier and crossing borders into neutral countries, but hey. His memory was only covered the basics right now ( ... )

So this is just a free-for-all? Oh hai! hurtandscared April 1 2011, 22:01:41 UTC
A little girl, looking about seven years old, was looking up and down the hallway, something about her steps unsteady and inexperienced. But she visibly flinched when the southern voice shouted out, and froze where she was.

Unfortunately for her, where she was was just having walked into George's hallway, and now she was visible to him. She was still a few yards away, but her eyes fixed on him, her chest starting to heave. She had the same look of a horse that was about to spook.

HIYO sorry it took me a while to get back to you! mightbearedneck April 2 2011, 01:01:03 UTC
Haggard took in another gulp of water to ready his voice for another sound-out when the little girl had caught his eye. Oh. Huh. He hadn't had much experience with kids in a long, LONG time. Sure, nieces and nephews and shit back in Texas, but he wasn't exactly taking anyone out for ice cream in the army.

Stopping, he leaned over to squint at her, though she was only some ways away. He rubbed the back of his shaved head, which felt strange not having his usual hat there anymore.

"Uh, 'ey, kiddo? You okay there?"

<333 No probs! hurtandscared April 2 2011, 01:12:27 UTC
Her chest jerked, like her breath got caught, and inhale got softer and more erratic, like she had somehow forgotten how to breathe right. Her legs were wobbling, threatening to buckle completely, but she managed to stay upright. She didn't move, though.

Then, after a moment of spooked staring, her lips moved, a whisper of sound coming out, but her voice was too soft to make out words.

Looking for a NPC doc... burgertanker April 1 2011, 17:34:14 UTC
Ugggghhhh...

Coach pulled himself up from the bed he was laying in. He didn't remember getting into a bed. Last he remembered, he was on a chopper. The chopper, out of New Orleans. He had closed his eyes, feeling relief like he'd never felt before. maybe an hour in, something started beeping, and then...

What? What happened?

Coach took a gander at his surroundings. It looked like a hospital, but the only hospital he'd been to recently was Savannah's Mercy, when he had a kid suffer from the heat in the summer.

"Where th' hell?"

Coach pulls himself up from the bed. We was still himself. His knee ached the way it always has and he was still plentiful in the gut. So where was he? Did CEDA use him for the experiments?

Where are the others? Where are Ellis, Nick, and Ro?

Coach gets up and out, pulling on his clothes (which were nice and clean, something Coach appreciated) and went out of the room. Where the hell was he?

Unfortunately for Coach, he's met with the head doctor at this lovely facility. She's holding a clipboard and she has a team of doctors just heading his way to see how she is.

"You shouldn't be out of your room." Her voice lacks any concern, though there's an underlying order in her voice. There's a wave of her hand and any approaching security gets called off.

"You were out cold, but you seem not to have mutated. This is a good sign."

"That's good t' know ma'am. I do have a question though: There were three other people with me: A young man named Ellis, a woman named Rochelle, an' a man in a suit named Nick. Could ya tell me iff'n they're here, too?"

Coach is most definitely being respectful. He want's to know where they were. They had to have made it out, too, if he did.

She shakes her head, "You were the only one we found and rescued. As for your friends, I'm sure they'll be in other facilities."

Or dead; she doesn't really seem to care.

Very little really freaked Terezi out, though being stuck in a human medical facility with no clue how the fuck she got here came really close. Every surface she licked tasted like antiseptic, and she shuddered, relying mostly on smell from now on as she worked the panel and exited into the hallway.

Before she left, she captchalogued the water bottle, and ransacked the room for other things, captchaloguing the blanket, the pillow, and some miscellaneous medical supplies she found in the drawers of her hospital room. At least her captchalogue still had everything inside it. When she found an internet connection, she'd make sure to troll Karkat. He was probably flipping the fuck out right about now.

Tapping along with her cane as if she were completely blind - which she was - she adjusted her red sunglasses and shuffled down the hall, her nose testing the air for any signs of life - troll or otherwise - in this crazy alien place.

Haggard was a man who often didn't freak out much himself, even in the face of danger... okay, maybe SOMETIMES. But he liked the fighting, the explosions, the shooting, and the beef jerky. That was FUN. But being here? He had no idea what the fuck was going on either ( ... )

Terezi had heard the man coming, of course, calling what sounded like names in a weird accent that made her want to bust out laughing. And she had smelled him coming - which made it officially the first time Terezi had ever smelled a human.

Weird.

When he came around the corner and hailed her, she paused in her tapping, shuffling progress down the hallway. She tilted her horned head up and up, until her blind eyes were directed roughly towards his big pink head, and she gave him a pointed-toothed grin that was just the wrong side of friendly.

"Hi! I'm just fine. I don't suppose you can tell me just how in Jegus name I got here, and where the fuck here is before I stop being quite so fine and get angry instead?" she greeted him.

HEY HOW YOU DOING mightbearedneck April 4 2011, 04:57:59 UTC
Haggard had opened his water bottle to take a drink and kinda stopped to. You know. Blink and her horns and general funny-looking-ness. Give him a second.

Logging onto AOL. Boop. Boop. Boop--alrighty. He had no problems with this.

"NOOO clue, missy, I was just about to ask you the same fuckin' thing. Any ideas?"

And after a pause--"Ain't it a lil' late for Halloween, whatever-ya-supposed-to-be?"

It takes a moment for Ange to regain the ability to see and think clearly, but she does. Everything is white for a moment... and she takes the water given to her as she forces her self not to stumble.

After downing the water in one easy sip, she takes a look around her surroundings. This was... a hospital? It sure didn't seem like it. She tried calling out to Mammon in her mind... no answer.

She was alone.

"So, where exactly is this place?"

"Beats the hell outta me."

Guess who's poking his head out from the corner with his mustache and his Texan accent and his everything.

Hi.

"Hey there."

Oh great, people. Ange wasn't exactly in the mood to talk to anyone that wouldn't give her useful information right now (as if she ever did). She crosses her arms and leans against the pale hospital walls.

"Can I help you? Because from the sounds of it, you can't help me."

Haggard was, on the other hand, completely oblivious. Or he just didn't care. It was usually one or the other. He was just happy to find more than just two people around here. None of them were his squad, but at least it was people just as confused as they are.

"Uh, noooo... but if you're 'bout as confused as I am then yer helpin' me out already."
