Once tagged by this entry, write a blog entry of some kind with six random facts
about yourself. In the end of it, pick six of your friends and tag them! (No tag
backs.) This explanation must be included, of course.
1. I like to argue. Conversations are so much more interesting when you have contrasting opinions. However, I tend to become a bit too passionate and often get carried away in arguing, which I usually express by raising my volume and/or with animated hand gestures.
2. One of my favorite topics for argument is religion. But unfortunately I think in my personal experience the Philippines is the worst place to look for people to discuss religion with. However, this makes it even more rewarding when you do find someone with an open and logical mind.
3. I like to think I’m an elitist with my music, but I think I’m more of a snob. Music is really a personal preference anyway, but it just kills me when people ask stupid questions about hip-hop. I really don’t want to be an asshole, but if you really want to know what Biggie and Tupac were fighting about a decade ago, you can research it on the internet.
4. I’ve been to seven schools, counting pre-school. Pre-school was Think & Try, Prep and Grade 1 at “The Ateneo”, 2 to 5 at GMIS Jakarta, 6 at SBC or San Beda Alabang or whatever the hell it’s called now, 1st two years of High School in Don Bosco Makati and the latter half at De la Salle Zobel. And the last one is DLSU, and I’m proud to say that there won’t be another one for my undergraduate degree, now that I am “immortal”. Very proud, since I almost got kicked out twice or thrice.
5. I have a current infatuation over football, thanks to FIFA. (the video game) I find myself watching games and starting to recognize the players and really getting into the science of it all, but I think it’s a little too late for me to excel in a physical sport, what more a sport in which I haven’t really played since grade one. I’ll make up for it on the virtual pitch, FIFA 07 kicks ass. J
6. I am a frustrated writer. When I was a kid I used to write stories without any direction or plot, just making everything up as I go along. I made about six or seven of these stories, each with at least ten chapters but abandoned when I found it boring and moved on to the next one. These days I still have the same problem, but I don’t even bother writing anymore. I just get a good idea about something to write about, and try to plot it out in my head. But somehow I just can’t get to the end, and somewhere in the middle I find out that I’ve already strayed from my original idea and end up thinking of something that would be more appropriate to be a separate story.
