as highschool ends, im beginning to hate change. i don't want to leave this place..or these people. obviously there are some things i'd like to leave behind but you can never be 100% happy anywhere so why can't i just stay here? i'm so lucky. i don't want to grow up. and i hate how i look back on things that used to be so perfect..and now i don't ( Read more... )

i regret always saying i wanted to leave.
as much as everyone hates floral park,
high school is soooo much better than college<3

See I had an awesome highschool experience, but I also know college will bring a whole new, most likely better experience..i just feel like right when i get comfortable with my dog jumping on my bed to wake me up, walking home after i hear the bell, and seeing so many familiar faces every day..it's only a matter of time until all of this is gone. I have faith things will work out, thanks for the advice, hope to see you next time you come home<3

i think both have positives and negatives. i wish i could keep floral park but get rid of the small town negatives like EVERYONE knowing your business. i applied to a few places..delaware, fordham, albany, pace..just far enough but just close enough..im not sure where im going yet though

i didnt want to leave high school and i still miss it but you get used to it. change is always good in the end...the harder it is, the stronger of a person you become.

high school was awesome. i loved every minute of it. but college is 100x better. you're going to loveeeeeeeee it!!

you're really comfortable in high school, which has a lot to do with why you enjoy it so much. college is one enormously nerve-wracking experience in the begginning-- but since ive past that stage, i could never imagine dealing with the structure of high school ever again.

ps. sometimes its comforting walking down the street by yourself and not recognizing anyone's face.
