Oh, I kept meaning to tell you but kept forgetting: I loved your Trin application story. It was so well-written and I really liked the storyline as well. It was unusual, and hella descriptive.

I really liked this line in particular:
"Within that one slow moment of observation and remembrance, the hideous irony of the past six months dawned upon me and I gasped at my unintended cruelty."

It was short, but there was such a clear climax/turning point, and I really liked that. The whole story was excellent.

As tempting as that is and as jealous I am that you have it, I think I'd prefer to wait. I avoid leaks (even though this isn't technically a leak, but it kind of feels like it), and what's another month and a half when we've already been waiting a few years? Thank you for the offer, though!

How is it, though - similar to their old stuff? And is Naked and Red a good representative of the album? I like it, but not as much as the songs on their EP, so I'm a bit apprehensive. Then again, I feel like this every time a beloved band is about to release a new album, so I suppose it's only natural. I'm sure I'll love it anyway.

I am excited, anyway. I can't wait for them to get huuuge (though they probably won't because I doubt mainstream would be very accepting of them and their sound).
