it's not what i know that matters, darling, it's what i'm going to do, and what i'm going to do is make this last for forever, until the stars burst and everything falls down around us.

nhi face needs to smile more, needs to hold her head high and live life properly. katsudono November 22 2009, 02:38:36 UTC
me and you.

it's not really about what happens, he says to you. it's not about what you think is important, it's about who cares, that makes it matter. it's who gives a fuck about what happens that makes this happen, makes this last.

but you don't really care.

he smiles. do i really not? do i? i care about you, and i care about us - i just don't care about me.

well, i care about you. does that make it better?

then this is a love story that'll last forever.

i don't think you know what i need. fabriclies November 22 2009, 06:40:48 UTC
i think what i think is important is the most important thing i could possibly want, my ideas and values and what i find is worthwhile, and those people who care or who don't care, they have things that are important to them too. life is solitary. :\

i don't think i know because you don't let anyone know. katsudono November 22 2009, 06:51:57 UTC
life is not solitary if you choose not to make it so. what you believe, what you hold true and what you value more than anything else - that is what makes you you. but everyone holds something in common with someone else, if it's your sister, your best friend, someone you've never met in real life but know, someone you've seen on tv before. so in that way, we are all connected are know one another.

we are not alone.

you stand there for a moment, with him, wishing the moment would last forever, but do things like that last forever? it's perfect but then you know perfect doesn't really work out perfectly, because perfect means absolute, true beauty without flaws, but what makes beauty beautiful, are the flaws you've seen and you still love.

you're perfect, and he grins at you.

forever and ever.

love is not a story or stories.

love can't be told, can't be seen. you can't tell someone else about your love, they have to feel it, you have to let them feel it.

they would never understand if you would try to tell with words what this feeling, what love is for you, what it means for you and what it makes you feel.

so how do you tell love stories?!

and forever?
you don't know if anything lasts for forever, because, to be honest, we don't know what forever means. we can't see this forever, we can't know how long forever is. maybe it is just until tomorrow, if it means until someone dies, or it is until the end of the world, until the world is dying, because you can love after death?!

first try to definite what is forever and then ask me again, maybe I can tell you more, maybe I can tell you stories, not about love, but about relationships, about people, about friends and enemies, about you and me.
maybe...

Spinning, spinning, spinning in front of the lights of her mind, skirt flowing, flowing, flowing in the breeze she creates; she smiles up at the stars and down at her bare feet on the concrete, liquid tears streaming down her face - "what is happy, really, mr.moon?"

When was the last time you smiled, teeth shattered, muscles worn and jawbone breaking to the beat of his heart?

You can still taste the shard of regret that was on the tip of his tongue when he said 'goodbye forever,' can't you?

"is this what you call happy, mr. moon?" she asks again days later as she laughs loud at the clouds covering the stars with her bare feet bleeding and covered in imprints of rocks and love that hurt more than it should have.
