 The clinic doesn't have the best choice in food- it's all healthy and efficient, and definitely appeals to the sportsman in Akihiko. But it doesn't appeal to him much anymore, not when he's already given up his favourite past-time. Which is why two of the nurses have decided to escort him outside, along with a number of other patients

Akihiko? Hey! AKIHIKO!!! *Shura shouts at him from close by, trying to snap his attention away from the cow. At her feet is... some sort of grey Puss in Boots.*

Akihiko slowly looks up, as if there was no urgency in her voice at all. That phrase means 'come here' or 'you should not do that' if its said very loudly. As he's not doing anything, it must means 'come here'.

He shuffles towards the caller, uncertainly making his way closer.

"I was looking at a Beef Bowl." He explains, not quite recognizing Shura yet.

Akihiko... *She stops him by grabbing both his arms.* It's me, Shura. You remember, right?

[undercard]

He stares for a little while, bleary eyes looking back and forth between hers. The colour he recognizes, and the stripes and hair and horn- but Akihiko can't put all the pieces together to identify her.

"...'Course. You're a...strip-y rhino." Akihiko slurs, then smiles. That's close enough, right?

[regainedvirtue]

*Don't look now, but guess where the clinic receptionist decided to go on his lunch break. He has his little puppy, too.* ...Are you all right?

[undercard]

Akihiko looks at the puppy first, and smiles warmly.

"That's a funny animal." He chuckles a little, and his words come with a tinge of a slur.

"I like that animal."

[regainedvirtue]

*Right, trying to remember what this guy was in for. He looks at the escorting nurses for a bit of a hint.

Meanwhile, the puppy will approach Akihiko for potential pettings.*

The nurse demonstrates by holding one nostril shut, trying to explain Akihiko's former habit. In the meantime, Akihiko slowly lowers himself to the ground in order to pet the puppy.

"...Hello."

OH IT'S BEEF BOWL TIME, BEEF BOWL TIME~

...Oh hay it's Akihiko. "Hey!" What's up?

Seeing you interrupted his inner monologue Beef Bowl song.

"Good night." It's actually late morning, but that's the best response he can come up with. Akihiko waves weakly, missing his trademark gloves for the first time in public.

Oh, hospital gown. So that's where he was.

"Getting some food?"

"I wanted a bowl of Cow." He nods slowly, pointing to the logo of the cow. The fact that he isn't making the connection between the Beef Bowl logo and buying said Beef Bowl from the counter beside him says a lot about his mental capabilities.

"That cow. The one right there." Akihiko points to the picture- that cow and no other will do.
