Good thing you're not a thumb doctor. I wouldn't even begin to know how a thumb is mentally strong.

You know, I don't think thumbs get their doctors. In fact, they're the digit with the highest rate of being severed, so maybe they should. Of course, any good surgeon could sew it back on.

I'm kind of glad I've never had to have my thumb reattached, but good to know it's possible. Do you often have to reattach digits on children? Or is surgery not your thing?

Nope, no surgeon here. Just a plain old pediatrician with ER experience.
