I'm very sad that you're leaving the HP fandom. I hadn't friended your other journal, so I've done that now, and do hope you can check on us once in a while! Please do reopen I_love_looshie for us next year, as I always look forward to the postings. Us Lucius-lovers are a small and discriminating lot! Best of luck with your original writing, though it seems you're doing brilliantly.
Well, leaving it a big word, really. I'll probably still comment on the wank of the day and squee in the spoilers and OMG i'm NOT missing the OotP film - LUCIUS-VILLE...
Thank you so much, what a really lovely thing to say. I've made some silly mistakes in LJ and fandom in general, but overall it's been good fun and I've made some lovely friends and I don't regret any of it.
Well, I will defiantely miss Underlucius. But if you're not really into the fandom as much any more, you're just not. And it sounds like your original stuff is really taking off, which is great. I wish you loads of luck, and I look forward to seeing your squees about the next movie and the last book.
First of all, I am going to go belatedly friend erastes.
Second. Thank you so much for all the hard work on hp_literotica and for giving me the chance to post things there. And for all of the encouragement that you and other comm members have given me over the past year. I feel bad for not having posted more, and for having made so many of my posts reposts; that's my own fault for signing up for too many exchanges and burning out there for a while. Now here I am writing fic again, yet my style seems to have changed and I'm not sure it fits the comm anymore.
/rambling
Anyway. I will miss hp_lit, and I ought to think of a killer plot bunny for the challenge, go out with a bang and all that. ;)
Thanks hun, I'm very happy that so many people have a soft spot for hp_lit.
And yes, I'd be very very happy if all the members would just post something for the last challenge. I've already done mine! I'm going to be selfish and make it the last post.
If I knew that hp_lit had encouraged ONE person to think about their writing then I win. HOwever it did that for LOADS of people, even non-members who wrote for it, even when they knew that there was very little chance of being accepted in. So I'm very very happy that I did it. They tried to tell me that there was no place in fandom for a literary comm. They were very wrong.
You are quite happy to have Harry Holidays, darling, I'll add you in as a mod and de-mod myself. It was fiddly though, 100 participants and a lot of work. Will you get time?
