- Luckily, I had been there for about an hour, studying.

Companions?
Nope, I don't really have a lot of friends in my classes or that I can meet up with at that hour.

What Happened?
I had my books laid across the table. Yet, I was distracted because it started to get crowded. As the single table across from me cleared, a few people started to gather to see what table was free. As two girls came by, they decided to make what they could of the table, trying to search for an extra chair to see if they can squeeze in the space. Somewhat in a shy manner, I tried to get their attention. Well, I had to speak up (after studying alone for a while, being assertive in a verbal manner is hard to do I think). Finally, I got the attention of the closest girl. When she turned around and saw me, she was somewhat shocked... I guess because of my hair (I hope). To push on and ease her awkward moment, I asked them if they would want to take my booth. It was completely unneeded on my behalf and somewhat greedy for me to sit there, I said. Also, since that booth just opened, rightfully I should take it since I was by myself. I had to oblige once more, but, then they decided to take it.
Well, once I gathered my sprawled-out books, I moved to the single table. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that the last occupant left a complete mess, including a spilled drink. Gah. Somewhat inconvenient, but, I like to make sure things are neat and tidy, but most of all... clean. I put everything in my backpack, so I could clean up. I threw away the trash and got napkins to soak up the drink. Once controlling the situation, I went to throw away the messy napkins. Unfortunately, when I turned to relax in my sanitary table... someone took it. Sigh.
Rightfully, I already finished my apple, so they had a right to be there (since they already had their food sprawled all over the single table).
I decided to just go somewhere else.
Upon leaving through the revolving doors, I noticed I was the only one. Everyone was using the door beside it. The one labeled 'HANDICAPPED ONLY'. Grr. Very inconsiderate people. I brushed that off, because people will always be like that. I pondered where to go next. I thought the next warmest place would be the engineering building (plus they have a good studies quarter). On my walk over there, someone was handing out fliers. Normally I wouldn't think anything of this. Yet, they were somewhat bothersome and forced them into peoples' chests. Why? I guess since it was cold and people gazed down and walked fast, shoving the flier into their curled arms was easier for them. The unnerving part was that when the people didn't grasp the flier, it fell on the ground and the person who handed the flier out saw this. They didn't pick it up. They let the wind blow it away. They just went on and trashed the campus. Very distasteful. I was very annoyed. Paper is biodegradable... so I tried not to worry.
I arrived at ARGAN - the engineering building. Unfortunately, every study seat was taken. So, since my last class was in an hour. I decided to do work there. I walked to the Biological Sciences building (by this time, I walked all the way across campus from my original destination - behind the McDonald's parking lot). Luckily, I think the class that was scheduled for that time was canceled, because no one was in there. I finally sat down and decided unpack my work. Then, I looked back. Golly. Damn me to hell if the person before me didn't leave their CIGARETTE trash (box and broken cigarettes) out on the ground. Trash including: pepsi cup with cigarette in the leftover liquid. Now, I had NO clue who the hell would leave such a thing. This was the first time I saw something of this nature on campus. To make it worse, you could smell the wet ashes a bit.
I threw it out.
I finally did one chapters worth of homework, leaving one to do before Friday.

...............................................................................

People on UK's campus are pretty lame. Somewhat rude... but it seems self-centered??? I mean, people have to clean up after them. Perhaps they are creating a job for someone else, but still. I'm not their mother to clean up after them and tell them to be considerate.

I'm modest about cleaning up after people. I like things to be clean, so I clean on my behalf. Yet, I also do it for the cheesy 'save the environment' thing. So, if someone comments about me being nice and picking things up on the ground... I try and think of it on the cleaning on my behalf thing and say its nothing.

The fact still remains -- UK is somewhat lame. The only cool people I have met are in the Art History, Art Studio, Graphics, Architecture, Interior Design, Biology, History or Political Science majors. And, I only pretty much know one person from each. This makes up probably 10% of UK. The rest of the majors... I probably hate with a passion.

GRR. I wish UK was like the normal stereotype college - very environmental and active.

In other news...
I got a fantastic review from my teacher on my Kroger paper. I just have to work on my awkward wording. :) I'm so proud of myself. You guys, LJ and Myspace has tremendously helped my grammar and structure style.

I did a fantastic job on my other two paper assignment. :)

Yet, I have two tests tomorrow. I'll just do mediocre on those. I don't really care for perfect grades in those classes.
I think I'm getting coffee with Lex tomorrow? Yes. That shall me fun!
AND, I get to pick up my reserved copy of THE SCIENCE OF SLEEP from CD Central. YES. Probably the last penny I should spend. YET, with everything paid off, what does it matter? I can just charge things. :) Muhahahaha.

And... I hung out with Rob and David a bit today. That was fun. We studied a bit even.
