Oh sam! I was going to update just last night. Here a transcript of what I wanted to write:

I love ricky gervais more than is healthy. Sometimes when I watch his shows I think of ways I could make my life more like that of his characters and then I sort of feel worried about my sanity. Have you seen his stand up dvds? Seriously, if you haven't, that just became the most important thing on your to-do list.

Would you rather lose the ability to love, or to forever be oozing unrequited love, with no hope of ever getting those feelings returned? I JUST WANT TO KNOW A BIT MORE ABOUT YOU.

I'm alive, more or less. Can we have an mournful anniversary of our four years of where-the-hell-did-you-go and then be friends again?

What are you doing with your life? I just got a degree I'm not going to use and moved and Sydney and soon I'm running away to Italy until my cash runs out and I'm too old and frail to prostitute myself anymore, then I guess I'll just join a commune and grow corn until the sun sets forever or something. I just read through a bunch of old posts and I'm full of second hand embarrassment for my old self for posting things I don't even remember posting.

Tell me a story. Maybe I should start using livejournal again?

Woooooaaah as if it's been a month since you wrote this. Every day I wake up and think of the vague mental list of things I should do and writing back to you is always around the top, but I am useless so here we are. The email telling me you wrote this was even marked as unread in my inbox to remind me to do it.

When I get back to Sydney to you should come up and play dumb games with my silly friends, except maybe that would be weird internet boundary crossing. I might start blogging again except on a new blog so people don't learn how broken I was when I was younger.

I don't have any stories either but I hope you have the most amazing time ever on your birthday! Mine is going to be in Italy at this summer camp that I'm teaching english at so if I'm lucky I'll have 30 little italian kids singing happy birthday to me in broken english, it's going to be amazing. I'm leaving on thursday so I might not do any internet things for a while but peace out and hopefully speak soon! xo
