so pretty much, this is what's been going on in the past couple of days:

So I've been staying at Matthew's house pretty much 99% of the time, so on the 2nd my roommates came by his apartment to come pick up the rent money from me because it was close by to their work. I am hardly ever at my apartment for many reasons.

she obviously spent the money on herself or something dodgy otherwise they'd have notified the landlord that you lived there.

WHAT THE FUCK. That is a TERRIBLE situation. I don't even know what to say to you aside from keep the police informed. Did you file reports on the missing things? I would talk to the landlord and tell him that you had been living there so that this girl will get in trouble for not saying anything. Why the hell would somebody steal your pictures? I don't understand. I feel like the girl is behind all of this. If she wasn't then why would she get so defensive?

I agree, I don't know what anyone would want with my pictures except maybe to take them down to be "funny". But it's not funny, it's stupid. And now all those memories I had in them are completely lost.

Get your stuff back and do whatever you can legally do or illegally get away with to make her life miserable she deserves it.

Going forward if you ever get in a roomie situation again put a doorknob with a lock set in it on your room door. If anyone has a problem or feels offended tell them this story.

I wanted to do that with my door, but it was an old fashioned door so I didn't know how to go about it, and they made such a big deal about the fact that they would hate to get their stuff stolen and everything that I just didn't think anything of it and just didn't bother.

dang. i have never been in this situation but i'm going to be way more protective of my stuff now. my suggestion.. if you dont mind risking getting in trouble wit this girl or whoever else she drags into it.. is to go through her stuff. i bet she has your pictures hidden in her room somewhere.. or probably up on the wall.

That is so horrible for you to have cohabitated with those creatures.
I feel sympathy for you and I'm sorry.
I hope that the police handle the matter in an appropriate way and that your roommates will deal with the proper consequences.
