Tonight I realized that the term "in love" does not fit with the preposition "with". "Love" is merely a state of being. You can just be in it. You don't have to be in love with the world, with life, and certainly not with another person. In fact, when you assign an object, it ceases to be "love" as "love" is not a verb.
